Time that ages all life has become his foe
He is not the man he was decades ago
Many Seasons have passed since his hair was dark brown
When he was the club's greatest footballer and best in the town
He was best on the ground the day the club won the premiership flag
Yet for his achievements he is one who is not known to brag
He does not have any children and as for his ex wife
She does have a younger man in her life
A motor car accident has left him in a wheelchair
But he is not one to say life is unfair
Balding and grey haired in his early sixties in a one bedroom ground flat he lives on his own
And of far better days in life of he has known
Not a shadow of the man that he used to be
Yet quite a friendly sort and of cares seeminly free.
