The past gone forever the now is today
And the now is all that does matter as the wise one does say
The years go so quickly past our physical prime
And eventually we all become victims of time
That the future is unknowable in truth can be said
Can anyone say of what of them lay ahead
Three score and ten years the average human life span
A few years more for a woman than it is for a man
Can anyone say of what of them lay ahead
The wealthy and poor eventually end up dead
The celebrity and billionaire may know of great fame
But as the pauper they end up as the same
The reaper of lives to egalatarianism remains ever true
And though one we do fear our respect surely due.
