If the dead could only speak many of them would say
We have had it with life dead we would rather stay
No more having to live with financial stress
Or being judged by the judgmental for our lack of material success
Being judged by your lack of a good home or a car
By those who never see you for the person you are
No longer wishing for a big home on a leafy street
Or with others for success having to compete
You realize your fear of death was an unfounded fear
That it has freed you of all living cares now obviously clear
The dead are not judged by their postal address
And anyone they do not have to impress
If the dead could only speak many of them would say
We would not wish to be born to life today
Of cares and worries death has set us free
And in where we are now there is equality.
