One who will never be to the literary fore
Writing rhymes i just love doing and little else more
The rhymes that come to me in notebook i write down
Just for the love of doing it not for any literary renown
Though my worth as a rhymer i have reason to doubt
Never any shortage of subject material for to write rhymes about
Rhymers like all people run out of time
But they never do seem for to run out of rhyme
Not endangered of extinction on any sort of a way
No shortage of rhymers in the literary World of today
Rhyme was seen as a form of poetry of the past
But in literature as in most things changes do happen fast
Rhymers nowadays never win a major literary prize
Literary critics do not see them worthy of to criticize.
