A beauty to view for we do not need to pay
That even in city and town parks people see every day
That lives in mental images of the memory
Yet there is far more to Nature than the eyes does see
To sketch and to write of her the artists and writers she inspire
The green goddess billions of people admire
Our wonderment of her it only does grow
And so much about her to learn of and know
She helps Mother Earth to grow the food for our survival we need
And she helps to create a beautiful flower from a tiny seed
Of her we do learn something new every day
And her lessons are many in truth one can say
In the beauty she creates joy to many she does bring
And those who do love her feel happy her praises to sing.
