The way we treat the Earth that feeds us is to all of our shame
The future generations of people for their poverty will have us to blame
For the droughts that bring famines where many will die
What we do to Mother Earth to our own selves we do is not a lie
The politicians we elect to govern us to parliament on election day
Of the sort of people we are more than words can of us does say
We elect mostly people for the Planet that feeds us who only seem to care
On promotiong the people who abuse Mother Earth for her resources to become a billionaire
More carbon dioxide emissions when more trees are cut down
To build more factories for carbon emmitting jobs on the industrial side of the town
We cause droughts that brings famines due to global warming when we harm the one to live on we depend
Us humans to our Earth Mother were never a friend
The children of the future for our mistakes will pay
And this seems a rather sad thing for to say.
