Though her secrets from human kind she hides away
Of Nature we learn something new every day
Her beauty unrivalled and so much about her remains to be known
And she is one who does have ways of her own
The beauty she creates to view a source for joy
Yet in her angry moods some of the beauty she creates she destroy
She reduces great buildings to rubble and leaves death and destruction in her wake
She has killed people in their thousands and caused financial heartbreak
Yet the one who has in her such destructive power
Is also the one who can create a beautiful flower
She helps Mother Earth to grow the food for our survival we need
To Nature and Mother Earth us humans owe our very existence indeed
Nature's wonders are many and her secrets not few
And every day of her we learn something new.
