Such sad news out of Millstreet in Duhallow of late
Kathleen Crowley nee Collins a woman we ought to celebrate
Has sadly surrendered her great gift of life
To her family a good mother and to the late Tadgh Crowley a good wife
Sad to learn her life 's journey for her has come to an end
In her community work in Millstreet over the years she made many a friend
Though an octogenarian and she had outlived her better years
In Millstreet and Duhallow her passing from life would not have gone without tears
News of the passing from life of a good person never good news of to read
It was by good example in her life she did lead
In June in the prime of Summer in the green countryside
In her family home in Drishanebeg near Millstreet Town she died
For everyone in life a last night and day
In St Mary's Cemetery in Millstreet in view of Cashman's Hill her last remains lay
The last breath of life from her mortal body may have gone
But in her family and her many friends good memories of her will live on.
