In a Human World where so many people for jobs and other forms of success with each other compete
The carefree sort are becoming harder to meet
The gap between the wealthy and poor growing wider by the day
And this in itself seems a sad thing for to say
In a World where promotion of the self has become an in thing
And so many their own praises do love to sing
The timid and humble who harbour self doubt
Are always the people who seem to lose out
Due to peer pressure many are being burdened by care
And the happy with their lot are becoming more rare
So many Worldwide live in dire poverty
In a fair Human World this never would be
In the twenty first century where many admire you for the size of your home and your car
And not for the person that you really are.
