We learn as we live something new every day
And for our every mistake always some price to pay
And the older we get the more we come to realize
That in retrospect it is easy to be wise
And from our mistakes of the past we only can learn
Life's experiences give us the power to discern
The words of a wise person worthy of recall
That life is the greatest teacher of them all
Of lessons to us life has many to give
We do learn from her for as long as we live
Yes we never stop learning until the day we do die
Those who do tell you differently believe their own lie
Those open to learning every day learn something new
For the lessons of life are not of the few.
