A June Evening At Pickering Point

I feel lucky in life is all i can say
In the beauty i see around me every day
Not materially wealthy but lucky just the same
What i feel in my mind could not be bought by money or fame
Just after sundown in day's fading light
At Pickering Point the rolling of the white waves an amazing sight
As they splash on the volcanic rocks guarding the shore
In Nature a scene that is forever more
How nice for to be where the land meets the sea
In Nature every day great beauty to see
Above the ocean shore in the darkening sky
The silver gulls give their mew call as they fly
There is so much in Nature for one to admire
And of singing her praises it seems hard to tire.
