Jim Joe And Linda

Jim Joe does always seem happy but the same cannot be said of Linda his wife

Her face was not made for smiling she does not seem to be loving life

Opposites attract we are told with them it must be this way

One can say of Jim Joe and Linda they are as different as night is from day

Their twenty two year old son John lives in London they have not seen him for awhile

And their daughter Kate has just turned twenty like her dad she does not find it hard to smile

But Linda she always looks so serious though she even looks attractive in her casual clothes

She has no reason to seem unhappy but it takes all sorts one must suppose

Sometimes i meet them in the park walking Jim Joe always says hello

But Linda keeps her serious silence though to her i am not a foe

But in this there is one consolation in that she treats everyone as the same

She is just not a bubbly type of person for want for this of a better name

Jim Joe he always seems happy but the same cannot be said of Linda his wife

Yet she is what she is as has been said and this is how it is with life.
