He is the poor bloke who has nothing to lose
In his late teens homeless and hungry on the poor side of the town
Down on his luck and financially down
The tougher side of life he only has seen
Due to abusive parents he left home at fifteen
Than living at home the streets for him a safer place
At such a young age life's toughest challenges he does face
Of drugs and of crime he is one who lives free
Due to his circumstances quite an achievement one has to agree
He does live in hope that lady luck will smile his way
That some employer will give him a job start one day
As is said about fortune it favours the brave
One day he will win the job start he does crave.
