Only For The Few

It is true in their written words beauty they create

But not everyone can become a literary great

So many live in disappointment since literary success only for the few

And this is not saying anything in any way that is new

Most writers dream of becoming a great literary name

But for the rare few only literary fame

So few writers become widely known

In their dreams of success greatness was not sown

For the writers disappointed in their unachieved dreams one must feel a bit sad

It does not mean as writers that they are bad

Is the reason as writers they do not make the grade

One too does need some luck in the wordsmith trade

Those who become wealthy and famous from writing are rare

I feel sure of this you would be aware.
