The rain drizzling down from a sky looking grey
Behind the rain clouds the sun hidden away
Quite Seasonal weather of this one might say
A weather temperature high for the day of a cool twelve degrees
And the wintery wind is soughing in the gum trees
June and Winter have begun windy, cool and wet
And worse days of Winter ahead of us yet
But the windy and wet weather is to Mother Earth's gain
And the coastal Moyne Shire green and healthy looking in the rain
The flute like warbling so pleasant to hear
Of the magpies who sing every day of the year
In the freshening winds the rain drizzling down
On the countryside between Warrnambool and Koroit Town.
