You cannot see good if you do not wish to this is how it seems to be
You cannot see the good in others if your mind is closed to light
When the hill is cloaked in grey fog it's beauty is hidden from sight
Negative people in the World sad to say are not that rare
That good is there if they look for it of they do not seem aware
Those who only look for blemish the good do always overlook
They judge the book by the cover without bothering to read the book
How can you see the good in others if to the traits of goodness you are blind
When you search for flaws and weakness what you search for you will find
We are what we see in others as the wise are known to say
When for flaws you only do look the good from you is hidden away
At the dark end of the tunnel there is never any light
When you only look for flaws in others their good traits hidden from your sight.
