And those who agree on all things are of the few
And to say the compassionate are not many and the judgmental are not rare
Is perhaps not telling you of what you are already not aware
In this age of the promotion of the self it only seems true
That some truly believe that praise should be their due
But in the words of a wise one from a long bygone day
Those nearest to the needs of the self from their higher selves furthest away
So many their own praises do love to sing
Self obsession nowadays is not a rare thing
In a Human World where billions do crave wealth and fame
So many do wish for to become a great name
It is not seen as an asset in the twenty first century
For those who are known for their humility.
