The reason the tiny frogs sing before rain
That frogs are far more attuned to Nature than i am is obviously clear
Since i need to listen to the weather forecast for changes in the weather of to hear
Quite a humbling thing this it does seem to be
To realize a frog in some ways is far smarter than me
Nature's creatures are far more attuned to weather changes than we are in many a way
We learn as we live as the wise one does say
About four hours ago i heard a frog sing
And right now it has begun to rain such an amazing thing
The weather radio forecaster did not say of any rain in our area today
But the frog told me differently and respect to it for this i can only pay
Most people will tell you that of amphibian intelligence there is no such a thing
But you know it will rain when you hear a frog sing.
