What We Look For In Others

What we look for in others we usually see

This is how it is would you not agree?

Too often we judge people only by sight

And often our judgments do not prove us right

What we want our eyes to tell us we only believe

But based on such judgments ourselves we only deceive

And judgment by sight on the judged one is hardly just

It only proves the judgmental one does lack in trust

Those who judge by sight are not of the few

And this is not saying any thing that is new

Those who judge by sight on their ways do seem small

Since they do not believe on a fair go for all

But you are what you are only happens to be

And your eyes only tell you what you want them to see.
