Koroit is a Town that is known far and wide
For it's Irish and it's Indigenous history it is widely known
One can say it does have a charm of it's own
So many likeable people live in Koroit Town
So many say hello to strangers on commercial road that walk up and down
Koroit Town near Tower Hill of the Peek Wurrong
Is also home to the Lake School and the Irish Festival of Celtic music and song
Many who visit Koroit do return to there again
For their holidays and this not hard to explain
As in Koroit Town they meet many a friendly face
It has become known as a welcoming place
Even most of those who have visited for a brief stay
Return to Koroit for their holiday.
