The Verbal Warring Bulls

Of a barbed wire fence and two elecric fences they stand on either side
And bellow loudly at each other in anger and pride
The black and white friesian bull and the black angus bull every day carry out their verbal war
They bellow themselves hoarse and no winner at bellowing thus far

Of the electrical fences they have received shocks seems obviously clear
And of  the wire that divide them they do not venture too near
The electrical fences far more than each other they does seem to fear
The only reason to each other they cannot go too near

At each other they angrily bellow and with their hooves scrape the ground
And in a show of defiance scatter clods around
In the verbal war that goes on between them every day
There is not a winner or it does seem this way

Every day they angrily bellow at each other until they run out of breath
If they could get to each other they would fight to the death
But the reason they cannot have an all out war is not hard to explain
As the fear of a shock from the electrical fences with them does remain.
