Though to rid the World of them is beyond human control
For to make them extinct humans their very best do strive
But foxes are quite clever and they know how to survive
Many small endangered creatures they have been known to kill
And for eating small endangered wildlife many wish upon them ill
But a fox does not know the small creature that is endangered to them it is living meat
Just something to ease their hunger that they can kill to eat
As one of Nature's most adaptable survivors foxes have earned renown
Nowadays they live in every city and every village and town
They know how to open rubbish bins if hungry for a feed
As an intelligent and adaptable species at surviving they succeed
Every year they kill thousands of lambs and backyard fowl and some of them for their sins do pay
But there are no shortage of foxes in the World of today.
