Though some may look on me as a waster of time
I feel i have been born into life to write rhyme
In literature one who will never be to the fore
I just enjoy writing rhymes and every day of them i write more
For writing rhymes i never receive any pay
It is just something i love doing in truth i can say
Just one with rhyming words who does love to play
It is something i hope to be doing on my life's final day
I leave it to others the title of poet
Who of such an honour feel worthy feel worthy of note
Like as is often said it is each to their own
It is only as a rhymer that i will ever be known
I used to love reading rhymes when i was a boy
And writing them nowadays i thoroughly enjoy.
