They abused their power over the innocents in quite a big way
But they have been caught up with and the price they now pay
For their terrible crimes and the young dreams they have destroyed
And sadly some of their victims have commited suicide
With our sins of the past we all have to live
May the god they believe in for their sins them forgive
Perhaps they too have been victims when young of abuse
Though this for their criminal behaviour cannot be used as an excuse
In life we have our choices of wrong and of right
But as sure as day does follow the night
There is what is known as a reckoning day
When for our sins of the past we eventually pay
Their crimes against the innocents anyone cannot condone
But i must leave it to the one without sin for to cast the verbal stone.
