How can you respect those who do not respect you
Who do not give you the human respect you are due
Their sort are not rare in the Human World of today
And they are not nice people in truth one can say
Conceit and arrogance are closely allied
And they both do give rise to an extreme sense of pride
They are a combination that give rise to feelings of superiority
And as such are not an asset to humanity
How can you respect one who feels better than you in every way
Any respect to her or to him you ought not to pay
Rank and class distinction they only help to uphold
Their sort never grow wiser they only grow old
How can you respect one who on you looks down
And treats you as an inferior being of the town.
