The people who have gone through life without knowing of some sorrow are rare
So many have had some cross for to bear
There are happy times and times when you feel sad
Suppose in life we must take the good with the bad
Perhaps laughter and tears are part of natural law
On this your own conclusion you have to draw
Utopia on Planet Earth may never be
Eternal happiness is not meant for humanity
Anybody who lives a reasonably happy life should feel rather privileged indeed
In a World where the things some take for granted many must live of in need
True happiness is a thing one can only hope to achieve
But in life if you can learn how to give then you can expect to receive
And if you can help somebody without expecting reward for your good deed
Then for your own Earthly Utopia you are planting the seed.
