I remember less nowadays than i have forgot
In ageing for anyone never a win
It is when the gaps in the memory begin
Though i retain a good share of memory yet
Some faces i know by sight their names i forget
To stay young forever something we cannot choose
As we grow older some memory we lose
Some people whose names i know on the park or the street
Only know them by sight nowadays when them i do meet
I recall i once heard a wise woman say
We lose a few brain cells in life every day
And since youth with us does not have that long a stay
For ageing there has to be some price to pay.
