People like Willie are a joy for to know
For he is one who has the bright inner glow
Known as Laughing Willie he is everyone's friend
To be other than he is not one to pretend
In his mid fifties he does not have children or a partner or wife
But he is a fellow who does laugh at life
Perhaps the reason he is single is that he does not take life seriously
He always seems happy and of any cares free
The mood is always lighter when Willie is around
His wonderful laughter is such a joyful sound
He never competes for the attention of others or daydreams of renown
Yet he is the happiest person on his side of the town
The town for him living in it a much happier place
He always does have a big smile on his face.
