Though he is quite intelligent one must wonder why
When it comes to socializing he seems rather shy
At social gatherings among people he does not know well he seems stuck for something to say
He sits there and listens whilst they gabble away
About themselves and their families and their lives every day
In their conversations he feels he has no part to play
One who does not yearn for public esteem
It does take all sorts is how it does seem
Sameness can become boring for want to it of a better name
And how boring we wouild be if we all were the same
In our thinking and interests we would seem boring indeed
It is people with different interests from most others humanity of more is in need
The life of any party he never may be
But this does not make him any lesser would you not agree?
