Eagle owls the largest nocturnal birds of prey in the World are becoming rare
Of which those into the preservation of wildlife are becoming all too aware
The World's largest owl by day hidden from sight
By some other nocturnal creatures the most feared bird of the night
Two to four large eggs of pale white to grey
Under ground cover or on a rock ledge the female owl lay
In their range in parts of Africa and Asia and Europe in the Spring of the year
The night-time cry of the hunting eagle owls instil in small creatures fear
But due to shooting and destruction of their habitat by humans and Climate Change
Eagle owls have become quite rare in their range
Due to human greed vast areas of natural habitat every year being destroyed
And many species of wildlife are becoming rare Worldwide
And one of those is the eagle owl in their range the largest nocturnal predator of flight
And by small creatures by far the most feared avian hunter of the night.
