Dinjoe

Dinjoe crashed his uncle's tractor against a wall when learning to drive
But fortunately the tractor and the wall and Dinjoe did survive
And he was lucky not to be injured in any sort of a way
This is something in his past he can laugh at today

Dinjoe as a teenager on the side of wild
One cannot say of him that he was a spoilt child
And one cannot say in him there was anything bad
Though he did cause some worries to his mum and dad

Dinjoe the good and not so good days of life he has known
His children into young adults have grown
He is in his fifth decade well past his life's prime
But he is one who does not seem to have aged in time

As a fisherman in Dutch Harbor in Alaska one of the coldest parts of the U S of A
Dinjoe he does work hard for his every pay
He lives the lifestyle he daydreamed of when he was a boy
The tough ways of the seafarer he does enjoy

One of  life's great survivors of him one can say
As a young man from his homeplace he travelled far away
As a seafarer in the Land of  the polar bear
The Dinjoe's of the World are becoming rare.
