In the sunny blue sky just a few clouds of grey
In Illowa of the Moyne Shire it is such a nice day
A magpie is warbling to proclaim territory
Upon a high branch of a sunlit gum tree
On the last week of March and April quite near
Such beautiful weather for the time of year
On all Seasons the beauty of Nature everywhere to be seen
After the recent rain the coastal lands are looking green
Nature in her splendour to view always free
And in Illowa always great natural beauty to see
The contented cattle in the sunshine chewing their cuds do lay
Enjoying the warmth of a nice Autumn day
The weather temperatures just over twenty degrees
With a pleasant freshness in the coastal breeze.
