Conceited And Choosy

Though this is going back a few decades in time
She was an attractive looking woman in her life's prime
She is quite conceited in truth one of her can say
Perhaps the reason that she remains single today
One without any children she was never anyone's partner or wife
One can say she has known of better days in her life
She uses blond dye to cloak the grey in her hair that was brown
When she was the most attractive on her side of the town
She was quite a choosy young woman back then
And was not impressed with the choice of the local unmarried or unpartnered young men
Though she has lost some of her looks she remains choosy and conceited today
So perhaps until she dies as single she will stay
In her prime years she was attractive to behold
But she has lost some of her beauty and she is growing old.
