It is Springlike weather in truth one can say
Though the sun in the rain clouds is hidden away
The songs of the nesting birds pleasant to hear
The minstrels of Nature of the Spring of the year
Swollen from yesterdays rain the mountain rill
Babbles to Aubane River from Mushera Hill
The Seasons have come and the Seasons have gone
But as ever the waterways keep babbling on
The contented cattle chewing their cuds do lay
Young grass taste far better to them than silage or hay
The dark swallows to breed home for awhile to stay
Chirp whilst in pursuit of their flying insect prey
And though the sun it is hidden behind clouds of grey
The birds they are singing in Mushera today.
