Ageism

Ageism is not new to humanity
It has existed long before the birth of the twenty first century
All of those that are ageist does seem far from wise
Since that they too will grow old they do not seem to realize

That there are many ageist people in the human World is a fact hard to disguise
But a loss to humanity in every good living aged person who dies
Since they have gone through life without harming anyone
And on their journeys some good things for others have done

Perhaps one reason that many ageing people with dye cloak the grey in their hair
Is that of  the unjust criticism of the ageist they are aware
The unfair judgments of the judgmental on the feelings of some people take toll
On their negative opinions on others they assert mental control

You may not be perfect but neither am i
And if some illness does not kill us of old age we will die
The words of a wise one worthy of recall
That a fair go for some is not a fair go for all.
