COVID-19 After All

In years from now many people may well recall
That the pandemic virus COVID-19 was not that bad after all
Though due to it's affects many people in Countries Worldwide
Who had contracted it prematurely had died
But despite the suffering and deaths and the grieving and tears
Some-things had come to life in humanity that had been dead for years
And these were compassion and empathy and kindness that seemed of the past
In many instances change for the better between people due to a virus came about quite fast
Due to COVID-19 narcissism and self centeredness received an almost fatal blow
Out of a terrible disease love and kindness did grow
In a major health crisis selfishness can be put to the test
In most people it only does bring out the best
COVID-19 after all may not be that bad a thing
It may give rise to more empathy with far less people their own praises willing to sing.
