Most of us humans are addictive in some sort of a way
And some for their addictions are in prison today
In many Countries the buying and selling of narcotics is a federal crime
And convicted offenders can be sent to prison for quite a long time
Those with a gambling addiction know of a miserable life
And like the alcoholic are walked out on by their family and wife
Most addictions come at a huge monetary cost
And homes and properties to pay off debt by the addictive are lost
Many people on their addiction spend time every day
For hours on their computer online games they do play
And on saying those free of addictions are of the few
Is not saying anything that is in any way that is new
I too have an addiction and this is writing of rhyme
It is something i have been doing for quite a long time.
