Verbal offending as a game do not play
Far too much of this stuff it is going on today
Between the uncompassionate in every town
To such a low standard of communication why bring yourself down
Verbally hurting others feelings to some pleasure does bring
Their offensive comments can leave a mental sting
In the minds of the people that they do offend
Spite and ignorance when mixed can be a toxic blend
The wise words of a sage well worthy of recall
If you do not have nice things to say of someone say nothing at all
Those who find pleasure on putting down others suffer low self esteem
And are to be pitied for their flaws it does seem
You ought to be one of far better sense
Than being part of this game known as verbal offense.
