Too Few Seem To Care

So little about them i can claim of to know
But my wonderment of them it only does grow
And that many species of birds are becoming quite rare
A sad thing indeed to become of aware
Due to the destruction of their habitat by us humans as well as Climate Change
Many species decreasing in numbers in their territories and range
Our Earth Mother by us humans is treated so bad
A World without birds even the thought of it is sad
The numbers of many species of wildlife are dwindling so fast
The polar bears of the Arctic will soon be of the past
The World is for us humans to live in and with others creatures to share
But for the rights of the wild and the free far too few seem to care
Most species of wildlife are becoming rare Worldwide
And to us humans this cannot be a source for pride.
