Is How It Seems To Be

When COVID-19 to the ways of time has gone
Humanity will exist and life will go on
And most of those who have survived the virus to their old ways will return
Since from the lessons of life so few does ever learn

And things as they were will surely remain
In this Human World where somebody's loss becomes somebody's gain
And by wealthy celebrities many will feel inspired
There will always be admirers and the admired

In wars and famines and viruses in Countries Worldwwide
Millions of people have been known to have died
But from all of this why love and kindness has not blossomed among humanity beyond me to explain
And sadly those who die from COVID-19 too will have died in vain

There will always be the wealthy and those in poverty
And the kind and compassionate as usual in a minority
In a Human World where many their own praises sing
Humility has become an out of date thing

If from COVID-19 love and kindness and compassion had a win
The Human World for all would be better to live in
But we never do learn from past history
And we are what we are is how it seems to be.
