Those into self interest in a big way from their higher selves furthest away
An oral truism passed down from the sages that remains relevant today
It is true that we all have ego we need some of it in the World to survive
But some egos become narcissistic and in the self obsessed mind does thrive
Even the down to earth have ego as psychologists Worldwide agree
The egoism i see in others happens to be dormant in me
The perfect person not yet born near perfection so hard to achieve
That even in the best of people some room for self improvement seems easy enough to believe
Those who do look up to flawed leaders in their thinking are not very bright
That some of the best of people remain as unsung the masses of seem to lose sight
Those into promotion of self in a big way to say the least are no longer rare
That their egos narcissism is controlling they seem to live quite unaware
Long before the deaths of their bodies the souls in the narcissists have died
And sad to think the self obsessed are not endangered there are many of them Worldwide.
