Why are politicians so self righteous and rude
Some of the things they say to each other quite crude
In their parliamentary debates nice things of each other they seldom does say
Not many honourable politicians it does seem this way
In politics even some in the same party in private are foes
It is all about power one does have to suppose
Of honourable politicians every Country in need
But in politics such people could not hope to succeed
Most of the questions asked by the media from a politician receives an ambiguous reply
To them the truth is a thing that is for to deny
Most politicians are not known for their honesty
To lie to them is a thing that comes naturally
The main reason one must suppose that they lie every day
Is that in politics it does seem the truth does not pay.
