An Ordinary Person

 Of time in this World i have lived quite a span

And i have yet for to meet an ordinary woman or man

For the word ordinary we have class distinction to thank

For it is a word often used for to define one's social rank

Human inequality as such it is based on a lie

Since the so called extraordinary like the ordinary are born for to die

It is the upholders of rank retain the social divide

And what is in one Country is Worldwide

Many talented people live in poverty

And nothing about them that is ordinary

Everyone in their own right extraordinary when all is said and done

The word ordinary should not apply to anyone

I have lived for quite a while walked on many a street

But an ordinary person i have yet to meet.
