Sad news out of Rathduane on this December day
Frank Brosnan in his seventies from life has passed away
A likeable person of him one can say
Good memories of him in all who knew him will stay
The journey through time has come to an end
Of Frank who in life did make many a friend
One who to help others was always willingly inclined
An easy going person in his ways quite kind
A former bus driver and in his younger years in time going back quite a span
He delivered bread in his bread delivery van
In the villages and towns on the Cork-Kerry border one who was well liked and well known
Frank he did have a quiet charm of his own
In St Mary's cemetery in Millstreet the last remains lay
Of Frank Brosnan a good person in every way.
