The last breath of life from her mortal body may have gone
But of the good person she was good memories of her will live on
In her family and friends and all of her who knew
The Joan O' Briens of the World to say the least few
She was a good person for to give her what is her due
To her higher self one who did live as true
So kind and so helpful in her own sweet way
For all of us there is this last night and day
A person who in her did have so much good
And if she could help you she certainly would
One can only hope that her parting from life for her was a painless release
In her mid seventies she now is at peace
On her life's journey friends by her were won
She will be remembered for good things by her done.
