Though few autobiography manuscripts published by publishers in book form for to sell
We all have our stories of life for to tell
Of our good and bad days and the lives we do lead
And every human life story would make for an interesting read
There are unsung heroines and heroes in every town
Great people who live as strangers to renown
In an age when many their own praises do love to sing
Their self effacing humility is a refreshing thing
Though they never receive the credit they are due
Action speaks louder than words remains as ever true
They perform a good deed or more every day
And in the helping of people often go out of their way
Instead of growing wealthy and famous they grow, wise, kind and old
But sadly their stories will never be told.
