Though we are in an age where self promotion is an in thing
You should leave it to others your praises to sing
That self praise is no praise as a truism remain
The meaning in this it's own self does explain
You like boasting to others of the good things you do
But if you are good enough fame will come to you
You are just one of many into the promotion of self in a big way
There are millions like you are in the Human World of today
You may brag to others of how wonderful you are
But promotion of self will only get you so far
You are one of the best at bragging on your side of the town
But this will not give you a claim to widespread renown
You are not the type many look up to and admire
Since of those who like to brag of self most people do quickly tire.
