As the clocks on our lives ever keep ticking fast
We live in our experiences of our youthful past
Ouir childhood experiences in us does stay
For as long as we live until our last night and day
That many people's political affiliations can be traced to their childhood is worthy of note
The oldest person in her neighbourhood for the same political party her late parents for today does vote
True to her parents political beliefs her lifetime she will stay
She feels that her to vote for any other political party them she would betray
To follow parental beliefs in life many are known
One can say their thinking is not of their own
But some who refuse to be tied to parental beliefs change for the better does bring
And change for the better is always a good thing
So many people loyal to parental thinking remain tied to the past
And the clocks on our lives ever keep ticking fast.
