Many out of work due to C O V I D-19
And Jane a single mum whose son Declan who has turned nineteen
Says he was made redundant when the factory closed down
And few jobs available on their side of the town
That it is a World for the wealthy there seems little doubt
In tough economic times the working class always seem to lose out
Every day unemployed people have a new challenge to meet
Where for every available job many do compete
That every pandemic and virus on the poor takes it's toll
Disadvantage is something beyond their control
Due to C O V I D-19 Jane's son Declan has become unemployed
And this is doing nothing for his sense of pride
The poor do lose out when times do get tough
Even at the best of times life's journey on them can be rough.
