The first indiogenous person to highlight the wrongs to his people in Lands from Australia far away
Far from his home Country his last remains lay
A hero of his tribe of indigenous Australian race
One who made his own history far from his first homeplace
Far from his homeshore where he experienced racism in the extreme
But he was one who refused to be cowed into a sense of low self esteem
